Weekend Wrap-up

This weekend was nice and relaxing...Tatum was still recovering and Sky was just coming down with something.  He slept most of the day Saturday:(

Friday night we headed out to dinner with the Foley's...Dewey's Pizza!  It was delicious and the kids behaved really well considering we waited an hour!

Greg hold my baby girl so I could eat...he had the magic touch!  She was out cold!!!

Saturday morning, someone was up and ready for the Buckeye game bright an early!

And then her and her Daddy passed out while Grey and I trimmed Rose Bushes and ran to Menards.

I mean this girl wants to do nothing but stand...and play with all of her brother's toys!

 We just hung out and watched football and then went to the park and to the Foley's to play with our girls.  It was a pretty uneventful day!


Sunday was more of the same.  I didn't feel great, but I managed to do laundry and go grocery shopping.  I also finally gave in and switched Tatum from her infant carrier to her big girl car seat.  She looks so teeny in it now, but she is definitely a lot more comfortable!

Before we knew it, it was Monday morning.  The kiddos were both in a great mood...which is always nice!

And this is my husband who I can't even take seriously!  He had a beard, then a goatee, and not he has this ridiculous mustache!  It's a big joke thing at work...hysterical!!!

Our week!

I can't believe 4 days have passed since I last blogged.  I guess that's what one feisty 3 year old and one sick 8 month old will do to ya!

 Have I mentioned that Tatum puts EVERYTHING in her mouth!!!!

 And the little bugger always wants whatever Grey is playing with...you can imagine how great that goes over.  Let's just say he counts and threatens to put her in time out...hmmm, wonder where he got that from!

Tator still looks sick here but thankfully her eye was better in 24 hours!  I was not looking forward to having to give her eye drops!  She hates me even wiping her nose!

Grey's favorite video right now is "Gummy Bear"....its a silly youtube video that he is enamored with.  He'll sing along and mumble when he doesn't know the words!  P.S.  He looks 12 here!

Check out these UH dorable little plates and cookie jar...got all of the above for um like 7 bucks!  SCORE!  I have been eyeing them for a month now...and they went on sale and then on clearance!  I'm rarely that patient!

Lil Tator was just chillaxing in the back pack!  It doesn't work quite as well as it did with Grey as far as putting her to sleep, but she still doesn't seem to mind to just hang out for a period of time!  

After the neighbors got home from school on Tuesday, we went over to hang for a bit.  Grey was in rare form!  He was ripping Christmas decorations that Dee had started to organize apart, knocking over Santa statues, threatening to leave, and kicker...opening nail polish and dropping it on the carpet!  ....Mind you...dark blue glittery nail polish!  Thankfully it came out, but I have to say, he was quite challenging for a couple hours!  Gotta love the terrible threes!  He totally erases the frustration when he asks you to snuggle him or says I love you too out of no where!  And in the meantime, there is always wine!

Grey fell asleep on the way home from Kim's Wednesday so when I woke him up I knew he would be cranky....but I had no idea he would be as cranky as he was.  He told me he didn't like me anymore, told me to go to jail, that I never buy him gifts and I'm not nice.  Oh yeah, I actually cried.  He screamed and carried on for a good half hour and then the switch flipped and he was back to his sweet Greyson self!

I was already exhausted....so after bath time, I was so ready to chill and snuggle the kiddos...

I mean how could you not want to snuggle this lil lady!

But first we had to try on Grey's new snow outfit!

He loved it and wanted to know when we could go sledding and shovel the snow!  God bless his lil heart!

It was finally time to wind down...dinner check, baths check, teeth brushed check., bottle given check, on the way to put Tator in her crib....

And Vomit!  All over herself and me!  Repeat bath for Tator and shower for me!
Needless to say I slept like a baby!

Grey had school yesterday and then we just hung around the house.  Last night I went on a super cleaning mission...cleaned out the kitchen, the play room, the family room, hall closet, our bathroom and closet!  It felt so good, but man, I was pooped!  Too bad I woke up at 415 for the 2nd day in a row for no good reason at all!  GRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Infections, Viruses, and Christmas Lights....Oh My!

Poor Tator has had diarrhea (TMI) for over a week now.  I chalked it up to teething since she had 4 come in over the last few weeks...and it was only twice a day.  She has been eating and sleeping fine so I didn't think much of it.  Over the weekend, the poor girl went downhill.  She goes no less than 6-8 a day, she is congested, coughs anytime she is laying down, and has major goobers coming out of her left eye.

In other news, we had a pretty low key weekend, but I still feel like I never sit down!

I helped out at Ireland's 9th birthday party!  10 9 year old girls for 3 hours = adorableness and craziness!  Think Extra strength tylenol!  A good preview of what I have to look forward to!

After the party I headed home for a while and then my whole family headed back down so Grey could wish Ireland a proper Happy Birthday and give her the gift from us!  He wasn't having any fun at all!

Sunday was a pretty chill day as well.  Ireland and Reid ended up sleeping over.  We made pancakes in the morning and then the girls went home.  I cleaned, washed sheets, wrapped the Xmas gifts I have, and then Sky went outside to hang out Christmas lights.  Figure its better to get them up now before its frigid...we won't turn them on until Thanksgiving weekend!  I would hate to rush the season even though I'm already getting in the mood!

The girls got Grey a nerf gun thingee to go along with their nerf bow/arrow set and the three kids played outside for a few hours!

Later Saturday night and lots of fresh air, equals my man passing out on the couch sitting up!

Then I grocery shopped and the kiddos bathed!  Grey was perty excited to take a BIG bubble bath!

And then we paused to watch the Gummy Bear Video for the 3000th time!  Pure Joy on that kids face!

Since Tator progressively got worse, I called the Doc this morning and we took her in.  Turns out she has an ear infection, an eye infection, and a virus causing all that diarrhea!  She'll start an oral antibiotic tonight for both the ears and the eyes and if that doesn't clear up the eyes in 48 hours, we'll do an antibiotic eye drop!  Great news for the eyes, congestion and ears, but probably means more diarrhea initially!  Gotta love conflicting illnesses!!!

 Greg was out of town so we visited Maddie after Grey's school!  She is such a sweet dog!  Grey loves to give her treats and Tatum always talks to her....Egh!   Agh!  EEEE!  I think that is her way of saying "Hi Maddie girl"!

Last night Dee had conferences for the girls so the girls stayed with the kids and I.  We had dinner and they helped give the kiddos a bath!  Just love those girls!

Poor Sky came home early (around 6) not feeling well at all.  He was asleep by 7:30 and didn't wake up til 6 when he had to get up for work!  Fingers crossed sleep did him well.  He felt a lil better this morning thankfully!
