All ready for school!

At least someone thinks he is!  He was putting Lyssa's backpack on the other day when I picked him up from Kim's saying "Let's go get on the bus.  It's time to go to school"!  The only way I could get him out of the door was to promise he could bring his backpack to Kim's today!
Back Pack and Blanket...priceless!

I wish he would always be this enthusiastic about school:)

One thing is for sure...I am not ready for him to go to school!
We are still in the process of potty training....he has told us a few times when he needs to go, but we are still just taking him frequently.  He has very few pee pee accidents.  Poo is a work in progress!

We are hoping the thought of "pooping on Thomas" will deter him from having accidents! Still in pull-ups when we go out, but its all undies at home!

My man gets his love of cereal from his mom...and his bowl drinking skillz from his daddy!

Can't ever get enuf of this face!
Is it bad that I'm ready for the weekend and its only Wednesday....I keep thinking tomorrow is Friday!

35 Weeks

Your baby doesn't have much room to maneuver now that he's over 18 inches long and tips the scales at 5 1/4 pounds (pick up a honeydew melon). Because it's so snug in your womb, he isn't likely to be doing somersaults anymore, but the number of times he kicks should remain about the same. His kidneys are fully developed now, and his liver can process some waste products. Most of his basic physical development is now complete — he'll spend the next few weeks putting on weight.

35 Weeks pregnant with Greyson

I am still feeling pretty good.  I am not in a rush to have this baby, but I am ready to not be soooo pregnant.  I am just uncomfortable...but I am definitely not complaining.  I am a lot more emotional this time around too.  I cry a lot for no reason at all!  Other than that and still not sleeping great, I am feeling good.  I have totally lost my appetite....nothing sounds good to me and I rarely feel hungry.  I think this baby must be bigger than Grey was...no room for food!  LOL  5 weeks and counting....

Dinosaurs!

Skyler wasn't home first thing this morning from his snowboarding trip, so Grey and I met Jen, Mike, Ben and Bella downtown at the Dinosaur Exhibit that was in town!
My handsome lil man looking for Ben & Bella!

Why hello Mr. Dinosaur!
The 3 amigos headin in to see the dinosaurs!!!

Poor lighting and back of his head, but you can tell he was fascinated!

"Bella, what's that?"

This picture just cracks me up!!!  Ben wasn't quite sure what to make of my ornery lil man!

2 out of 3 smiles...I'll take it!

"Um...I think we have a problem here mom...this dinosaur  is going to bite Bella!!!"

Baby dinosaur!

Grey's favorite...the blue dinosaur!

Kisses for the big dinosaur!

"Hey mommy...this one eats trees"

"Don't worry Grey...I'll protect you"

Diggin for fossils!

My lil angel..

All worn out...

I wish I could bottle moments like this up!
It was a great time until our time in the dinosaur bounce house ran up!  Grey had the meltdown of a lifetime!  It lasted a good fifteen minutes....Thank Goodness for the "elfafator"....otherwise known as the escalator!  The promise of riding up this finally got the lil man back on track!

It is a sad week this week as Grey has started calling me "mom" instead of "mommy".  This lil man is growing up way way way way too fast!

Another week & Potty Training update

Time is seriously flying right now...I can't believe I haven't blogged since Tuesday!!!

Clearly, we didn't have a very eventful week:)  I don't even remember what we did Wednesday, but I think it is pretty safe to say, it was nothing too exciting;)

Thursday we met Lianne and Reese at the Indoor playground.  I am getting slower by the day and I swear Grey gets faster, so taking pictures when we are out an about gets harder and harder.
Tire swing!
Even blurry, you can tell Grey is always up to no good!  Reese looks frightened!  LOL
They had a lot of fun and Grey is still talking about the boo boo Reese got when she fell!  He was really concerned about her!  Perty sweet:)

Grey pretty much sums up what I feel like doing all day long!  He curled up on the rug when we were leaving Friday morning and told me he was going to take a nap.  Mind you he literally just got out of bed!  I was right there with him!

Today, Skyler went snowboarding so Grey and I had a fun day just the two of us.  This morning, I treated myself to a massage while Grey played with his friends in the kiddie daycare they have at our gym.  He walked in and said "Hi everybody!  Do you want to play wif me?"  It was pretty sweet!

After that, we visited my brother...Grey was quite entertained with all the dogs:)
This is Grey finishing up his lunch this afternoon.  For as long as he has sat in a high chair or chair, Grey has always crossed his legs.  Such a gentleman!  This is one of my favorite things:)  I hope he never grows out of it!
Tomorrow we are going to a big dinosaur exhibit that is in town.  I think Grey is going to LOVE it!  We are meeting my bestie Jen and her husband and two kids!  Her son is only about 9 months older than Grey, so I think they will have a ball together!

I am so proud of Greyson...he has only had 2 pee pee accidents in the last two weeks.  We are still keeping him in a Pull-Up because he doesn't tell us when he needs to go...but as long as we put him on the toilet every hour or so, he does great.  Number 2 is another story.  He'll tell us he has to go poop, we put him on the potty, he grunts like he is going to go, but then he gets upset and says he can't go.  Usually he ends up going in his pull-up in the next hour or so.  We are not forcing it, but we might have to start because his new thing is taking his Pull-Up off after he goes.  He takes off his pants, pulls down his Pull-Up and heads to the bathroom...he likes to tell us that the poop goes in the potty.  He just doesn't realize its supposed to go directly from him to the potty....not in the Pull-Up first!  LOL  I am not complaining because he has really done soooo much better than we expected...but this taking off his poopy pull-up is really keeping us on our toes!

Happy lil boy!!!

Grey looked so cute on Sunday in his church best however unless Skyler physically held him in place so I could get a semi-decent picture!
Even a sucker wouldn't make this wild man sit still!!!

So instead Sky just tickled him...

Grey isn't ticklish at all!!!!

The smiles continued into Monday morning!  Even though I had to wake the lil man up at 6:45am, he was happy as can be!!!

Today was a very very chilly day so we spent most of the day inside...we, did however, manage to get out to play and eat at Chick Fila!
Grey was really enjoying his chicken and fruit!
Yummy!

Finger-Lickin Good!!!
And who doesn't love a twirly slide!?!??!?
Our life is pretty low key these days...and I am A-Ok with that!

34 weeks

Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds (like your average cantaloupe) and is almost 18 inches long. Her fat layers — which will help regulate her body temperature once she's born — are filling her out, making her rounder. Her skin is also smoother than ever. Her central nervous system is maturing and her lungs are continuing to mature as well. If you've been nervous about preterm labor, you'll be happy to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies.

Not a whole lot new to report this week...shocker I know...but the way I see it, no news is good news.  My appetite has definitely decreased...I just think there is no room.  Sleeping is still a challenge, but I find if I sleep in the spare bedroom that is about 20 degrees cooler than the rest of the house with about 8 pillows and I take a benadryl every night, I can get a halfway decent night's sleep!  Hard to believe that in 6 weeks, Sky and I will be parents of 2 children, Grey will be a big brother, and our family as we know it will never be the same! Eeeeek....so exciting and overwhelming at the same time.

Chilly Park Fun

It was windy and cold, but that didn't stop us from going to the park!
Grey had a blast playing in the sand!

Going down the bumpy slide!

And swinging!

We had a pretty uneventful weekend...lots of football watching, napping, and hanging out!  I swear I get bigger by the second...so hanging at home is my favorite thing to do!
