Tatum currently eats a bottle at 7amish, 10:30-11ish am, 230-330ishpm and 7-7:30pm. She typically eats 6 ounces a feeding. She is starting to really eat "people food" this month...especially in the last week or two. She loves eggs for breakfast...so I typically give her eggs and yogurt first and she still eats cereal between 8 and 9 after eating the "people food". At lunchtime, we have been giving her turkey, cheese, and fruits. She seems to like it and is slowly but surely getting the hang of chewing. We still feed her baby food around noon and dinner time, but are slowly transitioning away from it. . So far, there hasn't been a food she doesn't like or won't eat. She is still a wonderful eater!
Tator usually get a bath between 6 and 7pm and is ready for her last bottle right around 7-8pm. So remember that bad habit I was talking about last month...of her only going to sleep in our bed. Well all of the sudden our lil cuddle bug wants to be put down in her bed...it is rare that she falls asleep with you. The giant bean bag I bought Sky for Christmas has done the trick a few times! I miss cuddling her, but I can't lie...It's awesome being able to put her down and leave with no worries! Grey always needed rocked...definitely a double edge sword.
Tatum is on a schedule for the most part. She has her schedule when she's at Kim's and then her schedule when she is home with me. MWF, she usually dozes for 20 mins or so on the way to Kim's and then snoozes for 45-hour at some point mid morning. She then usually sleeps from 12pm-230 or 3pm. Believe it or not, she usually sleeps for 30 minutes or so on the ride home as well. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, Tatum usually takes a short nap on our ride to take Grey to preschool. She then typically falls asleep again when I pick Grey up from preschool. After lunch and about an hour or two of playing with her brother, Tator usually takes a nice long nap for me...2-430ish:)
Tatum is still very happy...smiles and laughs a lot. She has started clapping, pointed, "head-banging"...aka dancing, and her face just lights up anytime you walk in the room!
Tatum is still crawling everywhere, but getting more and more steady by the moment. She can stand on her with no assistance for 5-10 seconds. She still needs assistance when walking, but she is getting around much better with the use of her walking toys. I still think she will be a later walker than Grey..but I am totally ok with that! She has grown up way to fast as it is! Grey started walking at 10.5 months...
Tatum seems to really love any toy she can get her hands on and put in her mouth. She wants the tv remotes and our cell phones the most, but anything Grey is playing with is a close second! She received her first baby doll and a bunch of girly toys for Christmas! Grey and her also received a toy kitchen...she loooooves dumping out all the food and "eating" it!
Tatum's nicknames include: Tator Tot, Tatie, Dooter, Dooter dot, Doods, and sissy!
She is wearing primarily 12-18 month clothes...but most of her leggings are 24 months.
Tatum experienced her first Christmas and New Years this month! She seemed to enjoy watching her brother tear into his gifts:)
Tatum still has 8 teeth, but has a big one on the bottom pushing through now. She had her 2nd ear infection this month too:( Doc suggested that if she gets another one in the near future, they may consider tubes! (I think she inherits that from her mama)
Tatum has become a lot more vocal this month too. She says Dada, Mama, and Hiiii! We got her this adorable and huge pig stuffed animal and she buries her head in it and says "hiiii" in the sweetest voice! Melt me!
I can hardly believe our lil girl is 10months old! We call her our lil angel! Nothing seems to get her down...we are so very blessed!
