16 Months Old!

Grey baby...you are 16 months old!  Here is what you are up to:)

-You go down like clock work at 8pm
-You nap from 1 to 3pm most days.  Occasionally you sleep shorter or a lil longer:)
-You only use (or we only give you) your binky at nap or bed time.  You don't even miss it!  However, no binky at sleep time = crying baby boy!!! (except when you are sick...then you get whatever you want)
-You drink 4 sippy cups of whole milk a day....7amish, 10-1030ish, 3ish, and 7pm.  Other than that, you drink water:)
-You also eat 3 meals a day...8-9am, 11-12am, and 5-6pm:)
-Breakfast usually consists of oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, fruit and/or gerber cereal bars.  You also love pancakes and toast.  You are still not a fan of eggs or waffles...in fact one day, you chose raisen bran over a blueberry waffle!?!??!
-Lunch is usually grilled cheese, mac-n-cheeze, turkey, or leftovers from the previous night's dinner
-Dinner is usually whatever we are eating for dinner....we never know if you'll like it or not, but recently you are liking more and more.  Veggies are still a challenge but seem to really like marinara...Doc said that is great...lots of antioxidants in tomatoes:)
-Your favorite food is still fruit...grapes, strawberries, bananas, blueberries, oranges, and tangerines!  You even love lemons and limes!
-You are still non-stop motion and can now open doors and climb up on the couch & lazy boy all by yourself!-You are really trying to talk a lot more...mama has become your favorite word.  That and "no".  I prefer mama:)  You say pum pum for pumkin, all done, sank u (thank you), choo choo, baba (bubble), ball, baabaa (belly).  It is the most precious thing to watch you try so hard:)  You also say socks, shoes, and Elmo!
-You imitate us more and more everyday...whether its putting on shoes, cutting your nails, or brushing your hair!!!
-You are wearing 18 month bottoms and 18 or 24 month tops.  (Except Old Navy, I buy 2T b/c shirts from there seem short) You are in about a size 6 shoe.
-You still love to be outside...you still are in love with mulch.  You go down the slide all by yourself and you absolutely love the swings!  The park in our neighborhood is finally done, so we have been taking full advantage!
-Your favorites toys are your blocks, cars, and Thomas of course!
-You have 13 teeth...4 top and bottom in the front and two upper and two lower molars...and one more on the top left creepin in:)-You rarely walk anymore....you RUN everywhere!!!
 -You are quite the mama's boy these days.  When we first go somewhere new, you are a tad shy and stick close by me.  When the babysitter comes to our house, you get uber clingy and want mama to hold you all the time!!!!  


I feel like I just wrote the 15 month post a few days ago...where is the time going!??!?!?
