-You love to make mommy and daddy laugh with your new face! We can scrunch our noses and breath in and out and you do it right back! You do it over and over and we just laugh and laugh. It never gets old!
You love to flex your muscles and grit your teeth when we ask how strong you are!
-You go down between 8 and 9 pm and get up between 7:00 and 7:45am
-You still prefer to go into your crib with your binky and blanky awake...you roll around, sometimes you play with your busy box, sometimes you cry, but within 10-20 minutes, you are usually out like a light!
-You are done with bottles and onto whole milk! You drink a minimum of 5 sippy cups a day......about 25-30 ounces
-You also eat 3 meals a day...we never know what you are going to like each day, but seem to be more and more consistent as time goes on
-Breakfast usually consists of oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, fruit and/or gerber cereal bars. You also love pancakes and toast. We are trying eggs, but so far, you aren't a huge fan.
-Lunch is usually grilled cheese, mac-n-cheeze, turkey, veggie straws, crackers, fruit...
-Dinner is usually whatever we are eating for dinner....we never know if you'll like it or not, but recently you liked meatballs and chicken. You even liked a few bites of refried beans:) You tried shrimp, pizza, and a lot more things this month. You are becoming more and more adventurous. I sure hope you take after your dad...not your picky mom:)
-You still can't tell me when you are done eating...but I know, because you throw food on the floor when you are done:)
-You are non-stop motion. From the minute you get up til its dtime for bed, I feel like all I do is chase you! You get into everything and anything you can get your hands on!
-You are understanding more and more...we can say..."put that away" and you will put whatever you have back from where you got it. We can also ask you to "bring that to mommy" and you'll bring it right over and give it to us. (Typically you want it back, but no tantrums so far)
-You are trying to talk more and more. Dad got you to say "towel". You constantly try to imitate us...dada is still your favorite, but you say the "cccc" sound now and babble all the time. We swear you are trying to say "i love you". One of your favorites to repeat is "night night"
-You are wearing 12-18 months clothes but the more you walk, the loser your pants are getting. I don't buy you any shirts smaller than 24 months.
-People always say you are a big boy and guess you older than you are
-You learned how to say no this month....and you love to say it over and over again
-You still give kisses and have now started to give "hugs"...when you are in the mood:)
-You are starting to get "eyes'" and "toes", but only if you are in the mood. You still have nose down pat!
-You still love to be outside...you explore everything! You still love mulch, but more than mulch, you love other kids!
-Your favorites toys include your Fisher Price "noah's the ark", the "dancing cow" and anything Thomas the Train! (the book that plays the music is your absolute fav and you hit the button over and over and over!)
-You have 10 teeth...4 top and bottom in the front and one upper and one lower molar on your right side.
-You still put everything in your mouth...gravel, mulch, sand...you name it, and it goes on your mouth!
-
-You love to be chased and have graduated from walking to running!
