We had such a beautiful week and start to the weekend...it was in the 70s yesterday! Back up to Thursday...Grey went to bed with a fever Wednesday and woke up with a very low fever Thursday morning. After Tylenol and breakfast, the fever was gone and Grey seemed totally normal so I sent him to school. He did great until the last 15 minutes...sure enough he had a 101 fever when we got home. After resting for about an hour and a half, he was good as new. We played train, played outside, and then had some dinner...well Grey ate strawberries and a banana and then went to "play". I came upstairs to find him cuddling on the bean bag. Sure enough...another fever!
He was just mopey, but otherwise no other symptoms! I reluctantly headed to Dani's for our 31 Party. We had a good time and Grey did just fine with Rudi. He woke up in the middle of the night with yet another fever but woke up Friday morning normal! Off to Kim's the kids went and off to work I went. Grey was mopey and feverish most of the day and then at 3 when Tator woke up from her nap, she had a 103 fever! Ugh!
I picked up the kids and to the doctor we went. By then neither of the kids had fevers thanks to Motrin...but they both had red throats with white dots on it:( The tested Grey for strep but it came back negative so the doc said it was just a virus! Treat the symptoms and don't be surprised if it lasts 3 to 5 days!
Friday evening was beautiful so since the kids felt better, we played outside until Sky got home from work. It was a nice relaxing low key evening. Unfortunately both kids were up in the middle of the night...Tator was just fussy and Grey had another fever!
We all slept in Saturday morning! 8am!!! It felt great and both kids woke up in good moods with no fevers! Since everyone seemed fine, we headed to Grey's very 1st soccer practice!
He was so excited and ran around like a wild man! He did perty well! I give credit to the coaches for taking on about 15 3 years olds! Makes my head spin.

After soccer, we headed home and spent the entire day outside in the beautiful weather! We mowed the grass, jumped on the trampoline, rode bikes, played in the sand box, ate popsicles...and ended the day by grilling steaks on the deck with the Foleys! It was a perfect Saturday!
Everyone slept great last night and no fevers in 24 hours...so fingers crossed we are kickin the virus's booty!
