OSU Vs. Michigan & A visit with Santa!

This has been such a nice long weekend...I'm sad to see it come to an end!  So hard to believe today is December 1!  Saturday was a huge day for Ohio State Football...we played that team from up North!

 It wasn't pretty like this angel, but we won!  It came down to the last few seconds and nearly gave all of us a heart attack...but a win is a win!  That makes 24 straight!  We will meet Michigan State in the Big Ten Championship next weekend!  It will be interesting to see if we end up Number 2 or stay Number 3 in the BCS! 

My parents were still in town so they and Greg and Dani came over to watch the game.  We made buffalo chicken and just vegged out!

Last night we headed to the Fantasy of Lights and visited Santa Claus.  My kids are not scared of SANTA...which I'm thankful for...Tator was intrigued and Grey was quiet...for once!  This year Grey says he wants a Hula Hoop!  I think that has something to do with his obsession of Alvin & the Chipmunks!

Earlier in the day, Sky and Grey went to the park and made snowballs...there wasn't much snow left, but they did perty well with what was left!

Pure Joy

Today I didn't take many photos because Jodi took plenty...it was Tatum's 9 month photo shoot and we snuck Grey in for a few so I could use it for our Christmas Cards this year:)  We also were going through withdrawl from the Foleys since they had been in Wisconsin...they came over for Enchiladas tonight!

Update on Grey's potty training...

He no longer wants a pull up, but he is still terrified of the potty.  He has gone twice in the last 5 days...and both times was on the potty!  Problem is I think it hurt him because he had been holdin it for so long.  He cried, but then was pretty proud of himself.  He keeps saying..."I gotta make the poo go away"!  That is our cue to force him onto the potty!  Let's hope by Christmas we finally overcome this Poo obstacle!

Thanksgiving 2013

This cold weather has really gotten me in the holiday mood early!  I was so ready for Thanksgiving and I'm already looking forward to December and Christmas!

We spent most of the day at Auntie Dani and Uncle Greggy's!  Tator wasn't much of a napper all day...she just didn't want to miss a thing!

Greg fried the turkey and Wowsa was it good!  I had never had one and usually am not a huge turkey fan....well I ate more this year than I ever have eaten in the past!  Anything fried is better!!!

We ate and drank too much, but we had a great time.  DJ brought his girlfriend Jill with him as well.  I really enjoyed having her...she's a keeper!

Yesterday was a lazy day just getting a few things done around the house.  We met the crew for dinner at a lil hole in the wall place a few minutes from our house....subs/wings/pizza & burgers!  More food!!!  Today is the big OSU/Ichigan game!  Pix of the kiddos will come soon:)  Go Buckeyes!  OH....IO!

TGI Thanksgiving!

 Although tomorrow is only Wednesday, it sure feels like a Friday....that's probably because Wednesday is my Friday this week!!!  Thursday is Thanksgiving and I took Friday off:)  I haven't blogged since last Friday...eeek!

This was Friday evening...Dooter fell asleep and Grey woke her up at about 9:30pm when Ireland and Reid were just checking on her!  Love that chubby belly!!!

The Foleys came over Friday night for a "pizza party"...at least thats what Grey called it!  This made Dooter very happy...well either that or her nice warm bath!

Awkward!  LOL  But we had a blast with the Foleys Saturday night....football, food, and some cocktails!  What more could you ask for!?!?!? 

Sunday Sky braved the cold and went to the Browns/Steelers game in Cleveland.  The kids and I had a lazy Sunday at home for most of the day.  We did visit Uncle Greggy and Aunty Dani Sunday evening.  Tator is definitely a dog girl....she just loves dogs!  She talks to them and constantly wants to reach out and touch!  It's perty sweet!

Monday came quick, but it was a bit easier to take this week...with it being a 3 days week and all!

 Tuesday morning we woke up to some snow on the ground and the kids were intrigued...

It has been very cold!  Rare to be this cold and snowy by Thanksgiving...but it sure gets you in the holiday mood!  I am sure I'll be feeling differently in 6 weeks, but for now, Let It Snow!

Mimi and Pop will be on their way to Columbus early tomorrow morning!  

Really looking forward to Thanksgiving at Uncle Greg and Aunty Dani's!

Our Week

I haven't blogged much this week because there really isn't much to blog about!  It was a pretty low key week.  Other than meeting LIanne and the girls for dinner at J Alexanders last night, we pretty much just chillaxed all week!
