Tatum is 8 months old!

Tatum currently eats a bottle at 7amish, 10:30-11ish am, 230-330ishpm and 7-7:30pm.  She typically eats 6 ounces a feeding.  She eats cereal between 8 and 9 and then baby food around noon and dinner time.  So far, there hasn't been a food she doesn't like or won't eat.  She usually eats 1.5 stage 2 baby foods at lunch and 1 or 1.5 at dinner time!  It seems like veggies are preferred over fruits, but Tatum attacks just about everything we feed her.  The only food she doesn't love is peaches...I think its too tart for her.

Tator usually get a bath between 6 and 7pm and is ready for her last bottle shortly after.  Sometimes its a struggle to hold her off until 7:30 to eat because she is so tired.  She has been in a habit of wakin up and talking around 4:30-5am...if we bring her into our bed, she passes back out until 7.  I know its not the best habit to get into, but Sky and I both love snuggling with her.

Tatum is on a schedule for the most part.  She has her schedule when she's at Kim's and then her schedule when she is home with me.  MWF, she usually dozes for 20 mins or so on the way to Kim's and then snoozes for 45-hour at some point mid morning.  She then usually sleeps from 12pm-230 or 3pm.  Believe it or not, she usually sleeps for 30 minutes or so on the ride home as well.  On Tuesdays and Thursdays, Tatum usually takes a short nap on our ride to take Grey to preschool.  She then is awake until her late morning bottle when she normally falls asleep until about 12-12:30pm.  She is awake for a few hours in the afternoon and then naps from 3-5ish.  She is very easy going and will pretty much go with the flow and sleeps when she needs it:)

Tatum is still very happy...smiles and laughs a lot.  She also does her "bunny" face quite a bit trying to make us laugh..just like Grey did when he was a baby.

Tatum is a mover!  She crawls everywhere and tries to pull herself up to a standing position whenever she can.  She isn't super stabile on her feet yet, but I have a feeling it won't be long!

Tatum seems to really love any toy she can get her hands on and put in her mouth.  She wants the tv remotes and our cell phones the most, but the maracas and Grey's trains come in a close second!

Tatum's nicknames include: Tator Tot, Tatie, Dooter, Dooter dot, Doods, and sissy!

She is wearing primarily 12 month clothes...but I am not buying anything smaller than 18 months for fall/winter clothes.  I hate when the leggins are tight in he belly!  Home girl can easily sport 24 month leggins:)

Tatum went to her first pumpkin patch this month.  She also experienced her first Halloween!  She hung with Daddy and passed out candy since it rained!  She and Grey were the cutest pirates I have ever seen!

Tatum has eight teeth now...Her two top front teeth are about half way in and the two teeth on either side of her bottom two teeth are about 1/4 of the way in.   She can be a tad fussier here and there when the teeth come in, but nothing a lil tylenol or ib profen can't handle!

Tatum is growing up so fast!  It is so fun to see her learn and discover new things, but I wish I could push a slow motion button!  Before we know it, this lil lady is going to running everywhere!

Just a picture of Fall in Ohio at sunrise!  Wish every morning looked like this!

Grey is the star of the week in pre-school this week!  This is his poster he made for his class!
He is 3 years old, lives in Glen Ross in Delaware, Ohio, wants to be a doctor when he grows up, love strawberries, cheese, and chips, his favorite color is green, and his friends are Ireland, Reid, Olivia, Garrett, and Rowen!  Almost forgot, his favorite book right now is "Steam Train, Dream Train"!

Argh....Trick or Treat!

Last night was trick or treat for our neighborhood and we had a blast!

Two lil chatterboxes!
Grey was perty precious...he kept saying "Mommy can we go trick or treat some more?"  and "Mommy I want to get the yummiest treat".  He literally never stopped running the entire night!  We all went to the Foley's afterwards and as we were running he kept asking everyone to come to our halloween party!  This is such a sweet age!!!

Halloween postponed!

So in on Halloween Eve we decided it was time to get in the spirit!
After dinner of course!

Fresh out of the bath!

One is ready for a bottle and the other a hug!

SHe must be my daughter....you see the candy in her belly:)

She would prefer the binky tho!

Skin and bones...so this outfit is all too appropriate!

Skeered!

Sup Ma?

All those pix tired my lil lady out!

Thursday morning I woke up to two blow outs from my lil lady and a lil man that wanted lots of snuggles!  By 8:30am, everyone was happy and ready to go!  Grey was heading to pre school for his Halloween party and I was off to meet Jill for coffee until I returned to join the festivities at the school.

Dress Rehearsal!

Arghhh!

Could he be any cuter!??!?!

All we are missing is a witch hat!

So after coffee, I was literally walking into the school when I got a call from Grey's teacher.  He started getting real fussy and mopey about 45 minutes after I dropped him off.  He kept tugging at this left ear:(  By the time I got there, he was in full fledge tears and ready for his mama!
I half dressed him and snuck him in for a few photos with his class

He was in no mood:(

Poor guy!
Luckily I was able to get an appointment at the doctor immediately!  Tator, Grey and I headed over and ended up waiting over an hours:(

It was worth the wait though...sure enough Grey had a bad left ear infection.  The doc said there was pus built up behind his ear drum and wants to see him in 4-6 weeks just to make sure everything is cleared up.  After the doc, we headed to Kroger to fill Grey's prescription of Amoxicillan!  He was just happy to be in the car watching his favorite movie of the month..."Alvin & the Chipmunks".

We spent most of the afternoon chilling and resting.  He had no appetite, but all in all, his mood was perty good.  Thankfully Trick or Treat was postponed due to rain and high winds!  It really was a blessing in disguise for us:)

Grey went to bed right at 8 and woke up this morning at 5:30....saying Mom, I'm "firsty"".  He chugged a glass of water, took his meds, and then a cup of milk.  He seemed a lil sluggish, but all in all, not bad.  When he found out we were going to Kim's, he replied...
"I don't wanna go to kim's... i wanna go somehwere else"
I said, well where do you wanna go?
His reply: "go down the road to the stop sign and then turn around and come home"

After I convinced him, he'd have fun at Kim's....we got in the car after two quick pics...

Grey opted to stay in his pjays...just that kinda day!
So We are walking up the walk at Kim's and he says...Hey Mom...I'm not afriad of the dark
I said oh good
he said...is their frosting today?
meaning frost
and i said no not today
and he said ohhhh why not
and i said its too warm
he said oh yeah its too warm!

I just don't want to forget his lil sayings!  Although he can be challenging at times, he is usually the sweetest, most loving boy in the world!

TGIF and looking forward to a delayed Trick or Treat tomorrow night!
