Little of this & a Little of that...

Yesterday was absolutely beautiful day...it was 70 degrees!!!  Munchy and I took advantage...we voted in the morning and then spent the late afternoon outside:)

 Today was another typical day...nothing too exciting.  I worked and Munchy went to Kim's...and then we just hung out this evening.  Nothing to exciting to report:)

He was more than ready to go this morning...I mean seriously...Look at that face!!!

Good Night...let's hope Munchy sleeps past 5:30am tomorrow morning:)

Gotta love the Time Changes!!!

Can someone please tell me why there is a need to "fall back" and "spring ahead"???  Clearly whoever came up with that plan did not have kids!  You wouldn't think1 hour would make a big difference, but it sure does!!!  What am I going to do when we go to Hawaii for 2 weeks later this year....we are talking 12 hours of travel and a 6 hour time difference!!!!

I think Grey is starting to adjust...but he has been gettin up about an hour early still!!!  Doesn't Grey know mama needs her time to work out and shower!  All I ask is 6:30 kid:)  How could I ever be upset with this face!

16 Months Old!

Grey baby...you are 16 months old!  Here is what you are up to:)

-You go down like clock work at 8pm
-You nap from 1 to 3pm most days.  Occasionally you sleep shorter or a lil longer:)
-You only use (or we only give you) your binky at nap or bed time.  You don't even miss it!  However, no binky at sleep time = crying baby boy!!! (except when you are sick...then you get whatever you want)
-You drink 4 sippy cups of whole milk a day....7amish, 10-1030ish, 3ish, and 7pm.  Other than that, you drink water:)
-You also eat 3 meals a day...8-9am, 11-12am, and 5-6pm:)
-Breakfast usually consists of oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, fruit and/or gerber cereal bars.  You also love pancakes and toast.  You are still not a fan of eggs or waffles...in fact one day, you chose raisen bran over a blueberry waffle!?!??!
-Lunch is usually grilled cheese, mac-n-cheeze, turkey, or leftovers from the previous night's dinner
-Dinner is usually whatever we are eating for dinner....we never know if you'll like it or not, but recently you are liking more and more.  Veggies are still a challenge but seem to really like marinara...Doc said that is great...lots of antioxidants in tomatoes:)
-Your favorite food is still fruit...grapes, strawberries, bananas, blueberries, oranges, and tangerines!  You even love lemons and limes!
-You are still non-stop motion and can now open doors and climb up on the couch & lazy boy all by yourself!-You are really trying to talk a lot more...mama has become your favorite word.  That and "no".  I prefer mama:)  You say pum pum for pumkin, all done, sank u (thank you), choo choo, baba (bubble), ball, baabaa (belly).  It is the most precious thing to watch you try so hard:)  You also say socks, shoes, and Elmo!
-You imitate us more and more everyday...whether its putting on shoes, cutting your nails, or brushing your hair!!!
-You are wearing 18 month bottoms and 18 or 24 month tops.  (Except Old Navy, I buy 2T b/c shirts from there seem short) You are in about a size 6 shoe.
-You still love to be outside...you still are in love with mulch.  You go down the slide all by yourself and you absolutely love the swings!  The park in our neighborhood is finally done, so we have been taking full advantage!
-Your favorites toys are your blocks, cars, and Thomas of course!
-You have 13 teeth...4 top and bottom in the front and two upper and two lower molars...and one more on the top left creepin in:)-You rarely walk anymore....you RUN everywhere!!!
 -You are quite the mama's boy these days.  When we first go somewhere new, you are a tad shy and stick close by me.  When the babysitter comes to our house, you get uber clingy and want mama to hold you all the time!!!!  


I feel like I just wrote the 15 month post a few days ago...where is the time going!??!?!?

Dora & Diego

Yesterday was such a great day!  We got up and were productive...went grocery shopping, cleaned out our cars, cleaned out the garage and put our patio furniture in the basement for the winter :(~!

Then Munchy napped while we watched the Buckeyes squeak by Indiana (Thank Heavens!!!!)

Then we headed to COSI (Columbus Ohio Science Institute) so Munchy could play on the Dora & Diego Exhibit!

He had a ball!  He was so excited...just ran around exploring everything!!!

We headed to Columbus Brewing Company for dinner...Grey was an angel!  This was the best he has ever been when we go out to eat!  He ate like a champ and sat like a big boy through out the entire meal!

Doors

Some miniature lil man is intrigued with doors....not sure why I think that?  Just a hunch I guess!

Seriously ma...help a kid out!!!

I could be in big trouble...I have seen door locks for the standard round knobs, but I have never seen locks for the lever style handles I have!??!??!  I just worry he'll fall down the basement stairs or walk right out into the garage!!!  Never a dull moment with an almost 16 month old I tell ya....on the bright side, it's FRIDAY:)

Baby Fever

Nothing like holding a day and a half old baby to give you MAJOR BABY FEVER!!!!  Sky and my good friends Mike and Jill had a beautiful baby girl on November 1...Charlotte Anne!

It was only 16 months ago, but I can barely remember Grey being this small.  Such a cliche but time goes way way way too quickly!

Other than snuggling lil bundles of joy, Grey and I had a great day!  We spent some time with my girlfriend Lianne and her 11 month old lil girl Reese this morning.  It was nice to get out of the house for a change of pace. 

Mista Munch is hysterical when he takes a bath.  He loves to blow bubbles in the bathtub...watch him find just the right spot!

Guess what tomorrow is?!?!?!?!?!?  FRIDAY!!!!  Woop Woop!

Tuesday was a pretty low key day.  Grey and I spent most of the day at home...after all the Halloween fun, we were both ready to chillax a bit!  It was another beautiful fall day, so we did head to the park late yesterday afternoon!  Grey love love loves the swings!  I wish someone had been with me to video him...I was pretending he was kicking me while he was swinging, and he thought it was the funniest thing ever.  I seriously have never heard him laugh so hard!  Nothing better than a giggling baby I tell ya!

After some fun at the park, Grey wanted to hang outside.  He must still be in the Halloween mood, because he was all about the "pum pums" (pumpkins) on the front porch.  He just love to knock them off the porch, climb down, try to pick them up, get ticked because they are too heavy, then resort to picking up mulch and putting that back up on the porch.  Evidently he thinks I like sweeping the front porch!!!!

 Doesn't he just look  mischievous here?!?!??!

Sky was home this morning for a bit while Grey was up for a change...somebody was very happy to see his daddy!  (we both were)!!!
