Lil of this and a Lil of that

Another week has passed us by!  Time is just flying!  It's hard to believe the kids will be out of school so soon!!!.
This was Tator showing me her pretty pink nails while we waited for Grey after school!

My lil nuggest modeling her new suit!

Meet my 12 year old!

Cheeeeese!~
On Tuesday evening, we went to Dani's for dinner.  My parents were in town for a quick visit to take Leo to the vet.  Greg is in the midst of landscaping the sides and back of their house so he had rented this lil machine!  Grey had a ball watching and eventually taking a ride!

On Wednesday, my mom and I kept Charlotte.  We met Marcia Garvey for breakfast and Charlotte (aka Lotte) could not get things in her mouth fast enough!  She was jonesin for some real food so I gave her a few bites of pancakes!  Nom Nom Nom!

My lil man and me making funny faces!

Wednesday evening we had a 31 Gifts party at my house!  Its always fun getting the girls together for some cocktails and partying:)
How bout my diva in her pigtails on Thursday morning!

Could this lil man be any cuter!?!?!?

All the girls at Sandy's playing Candyland while the boys played outside!

My mom picked up Grey at lunchtime and took him on a date!  They went to Mcdonalds, the library, Kroger and then to pick up Leo!

 .

On Thursday, I made Spaghetti and meatballs for everyone.  We ate, my parents left, and we headed back home!  It was a busy week and no one is happier that the weekend is almost here!
Tatum is slightly obsessed with "Popop!"
(She's young...she'll learn as she gets older...lol)

And just like that, it was Friday morning!  Since its supposed to be in the 70s today, I had to fix Tator's hair in a ponytail!

Tator went to Kim and Isla's today!  She was treated to a trip to Home Depot and the Pet store!  Her love of animals is insane so this was pure heaven for her!

My man is at school today after our weekly donut run and bonding at my office!  I cherish every minute with these kiddos.  They are at such fun ages!  I am still very busy, but I feel like life is getting a little easier lately!  I am so fortunate to have a hands on hubby, wonderful neighbors, and super independent kiddos that keep themselves busy (most of the time!)

Just a normal week...

After last week, it feels really good to say..."just a normal week" to describe our week!

It was filled with lots of rain, a sick babysitter, the last two swim lessons for this session and a beautiful spring day!

Poor Sandy caught what the kids and I had and was out of commission Tuesday.  Since Danielle doesn't work on Tuesdays in the office, she so gratiously volunteered to watch the kiddos!  Evidently Tator was a fan of Greg's!

We are so lucky to have so many people love on our kids.  Grey went on a trip to Menards and Kroger with Uncle Greggy...he came home with a slushy and a new train!  Crash and Repair Thomas!

He was so excited to take his new train to school and show all his friends!

Tatum is all about buckling herself in the car...everything is "I do myself" !  Where did my baby go?

Although she won't really keep them in, I absolutely adore these headbands my mom made her on her!  She just looks so angelic in this picture (even though we know better!  LOL)

It literally rained everyday this week so its a good thing Tator has a rain coat!  Gotta love the Zebra print!

Grey man all grown up watching his movie!

"hey mom...take a picture of me throwing water'

"Did you get it?  Was I really high?"

Since Thursday was the last swim lesson of the session, the instructors let the kids play!  Grey had a blast and did not want to leave!

We had such a great experience that we not only signed Grey up, but Tatum too!  She and I are doing a mommy and me class for the next 4 week session!  So fun!
A sweet morning cuddle session on Friday!

Saturday was a much needed girl day!  Danielle and I left early in the morning and drove to Cincinnati to hit up Ikea!  I am on my next project of making a make shift mud room in our office.  I needed some more storage benches and wanted to look!  Danielle did too!  We spent two hours perusing Ikea and then made a pit stop at the outlets on our way home.  Since we went early, we were still home by 3:30ish!  Thankfully it was a beautiful day, so we headed outside and ended up at the Gravers!  Their back yard is awesome for kids...a trampoline, a swing set, a playhouse, a sand box, and an extreme coaster!

Tator and Crew using some sidewalk chalk!

Conley and Crew diggin in the sand!

Oh and how could I forget, I decided it was time to spruce up the kids bathroom!  Since everything was so inexpensive, I got new bath mats, towels, and a shower curtain for the kids room.  Gender neutral, but colorful and fun!

I'll grab some odds and ends to complete the look, but all in all, a fun and very inexpensive makeover!

Today was absolutely beautiful!  Sky has a sore throat, so the kids and I let him sleep and skipped church.  Tator and I hit up the grocery store this morning and then spent the rest of the day outside.  I cleaned out my car, pulled weeds, scooped up old leaves, mowed and trimmed while Sky put together Grey and Tatum's sandbox!  He took his time while the kids "helped" and played!  The outcome was perfect and the kids couldn't be happier!

I think it is safe to say that spring has finally sprung!!!  And no one could be happier than this girl!!!

Happy Easter!

I was so happy to be able to go to church with my family on Sunday morning! I just love the pastels and feeling surrounding Easter.

CHEESE!

The kids came home from church to a trail of eggs leading to their Easter baskets!!!

Grey got a Spiderman bucket filled with Play Doh gadgets, bubbles, and candy!  Tator got a princess bucket with an Aerial puzzle and book, bubbles, and candy!  Needless to say, these two kiddos were on a sugar high!

Sunday could not have been a more beautiful day so we spent lots of time outside...on the trampoline, at the park, etc...

Sky also hung my hooks that my Dad made us in our foyer!  I love how it looks!  That wall was always so bare before and now we will have the perfect place to hang coats when guests come over;)

Daddy even got on the trampoline with the kiddos!

I cannot get enough of those infectious smiles!!!

It was definitely time for Monday to come.  We spent waaaay too much time in the house doing nothing!  We were all on each other's nerves and ready for a break by Sunday afternoon...(especially Sky and I...lol)

The kiddos were in a great mood Monday morning.  I had called off work Thursday and was off Friday so I felt really behind at work.  I decided to take Tator to Sandy's and Grey to school for most of the afternoon so I could go into work!
Tator would not give me a pic easily!

That face!

Yet I have no trouble getting that "cheese" smile from my oldest baby!
