Star Wars Birthday Party!

On Saturday we had a birthday party at the house for Greyson!  It was Star Wars themed and we had fun with it!  This diva loves having her picture taken!

 Since Greyson is mildly obsessed with water guns and nerf guns, we had all of his guns out and some fun games ready for the kiddos to play!

I made light sabers out of foam pool noodles and bubble cylinders!  The kids had a lot of fun with them:)

Saturday night, Ashley, Danielle, Kristen and I went to get pedicures and to dinner up in Delaware.  We had a lot of fun!  It was a nice break after kid overload!

Sunday was church, pool, and chillin!

 My parents had bought the kids a huge flamingo floatie so this is how we rolled to the pool Sunday afternoon!

Its been a really busy week!  A few people are on vacation at work, Greyson had some appointments, Sky traveled and we celebrated James birthday too!

Uncle Micah arrives tomorrow!  We can't wait for his visit!

Happy 7th Birthday Greyson!

How is it that my first born is 7 years old!  It feels like yesterday that he was born, but, on the other hand, I don't remember life before him.  

Greyson...you are such a loving and sweet boy!  You definitely are stubborn and strong-willed and don't always control your emotions the way you should, but we love you more than you will ever know.  You are so very smart!  You are quirky with your eating habits like your mama, are a morning person, and are not a fan of bedtime!  You are completely obsessed with Nerf Guns, water guns numchucks, swords, bow and arrows, etc...  You love to simulate battle with your friends...mostly a team effort to go after the "zombies"!  You love love love Star Wars and will sit for hours putting legos together!  

It wasn't that "special" of a day in the things we did, but it was great to spend the day together.  We started out by taking Tatum to gymnastics and then we hit up ToysRUs so you could spend some of your birthday money from Baba.  Then we had lunch at Chick Fila.  It was great to have Mimi in town to celebrate with us.  Then we hung at home in the afternoon so you could get your hair cut and I could make you your strawberry pizza!

We went to an early dinner at Red Robin and then opened gifts at the house while we ate Strawberry Pizza!  You are one loved lil man!

This past week really took a toll on your.  You were so incredibly tired you passed out at 8pm.  You haven't done that since school was in session!!!  You are an angel my lil man!

4th of July Weekend!

My kids are so spoiled being at the Alexanders all summer! On Friday, Lauren took them to Dave and Busters!  They are obsessed with that place!

Saturday morning, our neighborhood had a bike parade and then a get together at the new pool!

The kids had fun decorating their bikes and were all decked out in their 4th of July attire:)

The new pool is amazing!  It has zero entry with water fountains in one section, another section that is only 2-3 feet, and then a deeper part with diving blocks!  There is so much room around the pool....we even had cornhole boards up there!

 Saturday night, Skyler and I had a rare date night!  We went to a delicious dinner at J Gilberts and then hung on the Zuchegnos patio til 12:30am!  (Party Animals)

 On Sunday we spent the day at the pool and then went to a cookout at the Gravers!  We had such a great time!  The kids ran around in the water slide, swing set, and trampoline while us adults played cornhole and catch phrase!  It was another late night...12:40am!  Two nights in a row!  Needless to say, I was wiped out!  My bedtime Monday was 8pm!

On Monday Danielle and I went to Ikea and Sephora.  We both needed some makeup refreshers!  We ended up getting makeovers and stocking up!  The pic below is after I had my makeup done.  I can't do it this "good" but I have definitely improved over the last few days:)

 I also bought new storage for the kids play area in the loft!  I am so pleased with how it turned out!

Tuesday was more pool time and then we set off fireworks in our driveway!  Talk about fun overload for the kiddos (and us really)!
