Catching up...Halloween 2015, Croup, and more!

It was a rainy Wednesday last week so the kids were both sporting their rain boots!

And these lucky kiddos got to go to an indoor pool with Miss Holly on Tuesday!  To say they were excited would be the understatement of the year!

Thursday was Grey's classroom halloween party!  He was just a tad excited about that!

Tator and I ran some errands in the morning and then Kim was nice enough to come over while she napped so I could focus just on Grey man!

These cuties all dressed up!

Grey's whole class!

Parade Time!

Snacks!

Crafts!

Games!
Grey had so much fun and it was so neat to meet more of the kids and parents in his classroom!  It seems like yesterday my mom was attending my elementary school parties!

Later that evening was Jiu JItsu!  It was a testing day and since Grey hasn't been in class for 2 months quite yet, he just got an attendance badge.  That being said, we didn't practice anything and he answered as well if not better than most kids in his class!

Then it was Tubby Time!

Not overly excited about Friday morning!  But they sure did look the part:)

My sitter's son was really sick so Kristen was nice enough to help me out for a few hours until Danielle could help me with the kids!  The boys played dress-up!  How appropriate for the day before Halloween!

Kristen text me and was like "your kids love bacon"!
Duh!  Who doesn't!??!!?  LOL

Pancakes and Bacon! Breakfast of champions!

Doctor Tatum, Darth Vader James, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Grey, and Dino Lane!

Saturday was finally the day of Trick or Treat!  We spent the day chillin and prepping for the evening!

We dropped my car off for new tires and headed for a family breakfast!  Grey was thrilled ot have some hot chocolate!

And how sweet is this boy with his haircut!

Model!

I made mummy hot dogs for the kids!  They were waaaay too excited to eat, but it was still fun!
Us adults had some buffalo chicken sandwiches and a delicious drink Pat concocted!  Reduced Apple Cider, Rum, and Vodka!  So festive!

My lil Astrid!

Playin the part!

Hiccup, Toothless, Astrid, and another Viking!

Siblings!
Off we went with the Zuchegnos and the Gravers!  The kiddos listened to Coach Matt so well!  They all had great manners and were thrilled with all the candy!

Sweethearts!

Neighborhood kiddos

Kristen and I chillin at the campfire after Trick or treat!

Grey and Conley!

Tatum and her flashlight!

The cutie older boy Garrett!

This was by far the best weather we have had since we moved in for Trick or Treat.  Although chilly, it was dry and not frigid!  The kids had a blast!

Sampling a sucker bright an early before church!
Before we knew it, it was Monday!

Conner was still sick on Monday so a sweet neighbor helped me out with Tatum.  She has four girls...two of which were home all day with Tatum.  The girls were instant friends and had a blast.  Let's just say Tatum cried when I arrived to pick her up!  Always a sign of a good time!

Tuesday was an absolute beautiful day!  The sun was shining and it was 75 degrees.  That called for Orange Park time!

Isla showed up for a while too!  The kids were thrilled!

Tatum woke up from her nap on Tuesday upset so I held her and she passed back out for another 10 minutes.  I don't remember the last time she did this...what a treat!

These two kids were styling and profiling on Wednesday!  Grey with his spike and Tatum with her romper and fancy new due!

Thursday Sky was off work after working some crazy long hours and it worked out great.  Thursday at 8:15 was Muffins with Mom at Grey's school.  So Tatum stayed with Sky while I headed up alone to spend some QT with Grey!

Grey and his bestie James!

Nothing better than snuggles with your first born!
At 9 I walked Grey to his classroom and Sky and Tatum joined us!  It just happened to be Grey's share week and he wanted to share his family! We sat down together and all the other kids asked questions.  It was pretty sweet!

Tatum wanted to go for a walk when we got home so we did just that!

Such a Daddy's girl sometimes!

After putting up our outdoor Christmas lights, Tatum and I headed to Menards to buy a few more strands for Sky and then to get a mani!  This was her first and boy did she love it (when she wasn't busy screwing it up!)

After a nice lil nap, we headed to Jiu Jitsu for Grey and then Tatum's first dance class!  She looked the part and caught on right away!  She just loved it.  That being said, she wasn't quite herself.  She seemed a lil mopey and didn't quite have the spunk and energy she normally does.

Poor baby was definitely coming down with something, but we didn't quite know what it was.  Little did we know that Grey was also not feeling great.  He seemed totally fine through jiu Jitsu and even while he watched Tatum dance.  Then we headed to Bob Evans for dinner.  Not only was the service terrible, neither kids really ate.  As we were wrapping up, Grey coughed and ended up throwing up on his plate.  I rushed to take him to the bathroom....but we didn't quite make it.  Grey threw up all over the reception area, not once, but twice!  Poor guy was covered and we were all mortified.  I cleaned him up as best I could, stripped him down, and wrapped him up in Sky's sweater.  The employees' were really sweet, but what a horrible thing:(

We finally got the kids home and bathed and Grey seemed 100% in no time...Tatum on the other hand was coughing like crazy and running a fever.  I sensed it right away, and I ended up being right...she had croup!

Because its viral, there isn't much to be done other than taking a steroid to reduce the inflammation in her airways.  Thursday was a rough night with little more than an hour asleep at any given time.  Thankfully that was the worst of it and the steroids really seemed to help.  She was raspy and coughing through the weekend, but by Saturday morning, she was full of spunk!
My lil cheerleader!

We were thankful she was feeling better because sick kids are the worst, but also because that meant we could still go out with our friends to tailgate for the OSU/MN game!

My husband...will NEVER pose for a "nice" picture!

Like....ever!

Ran into Bekah and her hubby randomly at Varsity Club!  I think we provided some drunken entertainment for them;)

And guess who is vomitting before the game even starts!
Frank the Tank...Aka Danielle Supelak!

The whole crew!
Dani, Matt, Sky, kim, Me, Ashley, Pat, Kristen and Greg!

Me and Kim!

The girls!

As close to "normal" as you get from Sky!

We were trying to find someone so naturally, Matt picked me up since I'm so short!

Silly Faces!

We headed to a bar and watch the game for the first half while we finally ate some food!  We headed home all pretty drunk, but definitely had a blast!

Sunday was a lazy day of laundry, naps, and crafting (will show that stuff when done)

Before we knew it, Monday had arrived in all its glory!  Poor Tator was super congested and mopey, but Grey seemed good as new.  Poor Tator just hasn't been sleeping great...so hopefully a good nap and a good night's sleep will help her finally get back to normal!
